International Women's Day

Happy International Women's Day fellow readers! If you are not familiar with this day of celebration, International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

There are tons of ways to celebrate this day; sharing empowering stories, learning about the role women played in historical events, acknowledging the women in your life and asking them about their unique journey. This year I decided to attend the Women + Wealth Gala! The evening included inspiring stories by guest speakers:

The event was so beautifully decorated and I enjoyed taking tons of pictures with my friends! It was such a nice evening! When I first arrived I ordered a glass of chardonnay and mingled with local entrepreneurs. There was music playing and everyone was dressed in beautiful cocktail attire. Once we got seated, Carrie Doll led with an introduction. As we listened to the guest speakers share their stories, dinner was served. There was a three course meal (my first time experiencing this), and the food was absolutely delicious! Salad was the starter and roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables was the main course. The mashed potatoes was so creamy and fluffy! I have to know the recipe! For dessert, frozen sorbet with panna cotta and raspberry mousse.
